We can do it all! No really we can!

Yes, we are a Property Styling company who assists homeowners across greater Melbourne in presenting their homes for sale, but we are much more than that. We are an experienced and talented bunch of stylists who can see the big picture from the first step into your home. We are a wealth of information, we are advisors and directors and we have a great little address book of tradespeople we work with that help us turn our vision into your reality.
On some occasions we can supply everything in the home to properly present it for sale, from the outdoor setting in the back yard, to the front door mat at the entrance and everything in between, or we can work with existing furniture and add the missing pieces to create the wow factor!

No job is too big or too small for us, from the five bedroom penthouses in town to the one bedroom apartments of Northcote. If the property is bare, we turn it into a home by providing everything needed to showcase the property for its selling campaign.

You are consulted in the discussion of styling choices but the best part of choosing Stylepoint is that we know your market and that is why the choices we make are through the eyes of the purchaser. The styling choices made are at the discretion of the Lead Stylist on the job and may change during the course of the installation or campaign period.

We really work at 150% to help you achieve the best possible result for the property and with trust and open communication and feedback, the results simply speak for themselves.

Property Re-Styling

Some people may refer to them as a ‘part furnish’ but we like to call these type of jobs a Re-Style because we are not simply adding missing furniture and accessories, we are seeing these spaces with the potential they have in them and converting them into the wonderful rooms they have always been destined to be.

Think of that spare room in your house that is piled high with items you haven’t used in forever and a day. You have probably been telling yourself that you’ll get to it soon. In our experience the time that you will start to tackle this room (or rooms!) will be when you intend to sell your house. That’s where we come in. Leaders in this niche market, we can assist you with the de-cluttering process and removal of items to storage where appropriate.

These are the stages of our Re-Style process:

  • Stage One involves a thorough consultation with us. Following this you will receive advice and direction about the items to remain on site and what items we feel are not necessary for the duration of the selling campaign.
  • Stage Two involves the first de-clutter and transportation to
    storage of items not needed. We have a great relationship with a number of storage facilities across Melbourne who we are able to refer you to. It should also be noted that during this stage, depending on the nature of the de-clutter stage, you may require our attendance on a few additional occasions until the de-clutter process is completed. As each property is different, this is determined on a case-by-case basis.
    It is also during this stage that the team will re-arrange the existing furniture and make a final list of the items for Stylepoint to add.
  • Stage Three is when Stylepoint takes the property to the next level with the addition of our items and sometimes further re-arrangement of furniture, accessories and the like. By the end of this stage, the property will be ready for photos and the selling campaign.
  • Stage Four is the collection of our items once the property has sold for well above its reserve!

As each property is unique, the Re-Style may be as simple as swapping out a couch or as involved as re-defining the purpose of each room within the house.

Some minor works may need to be carried out to the property like a fresh coat of paint, some new carpet or even whipping the garden into shape. We are great Project Managers and can help to source, coordinate and meet deadlines with respect to any of the additional maintenance required to the property.

Advice and Direction

Our depth of knowledge coupled with our experience is worth its weight in gold. We are happy to meet you on-site and discuss your needs and wants for your property to ensure the most
successful selling campaign possible. The cost for the abundance of information you will receive is then deducted from the cost to re-style your home when you choose Stylepoint.

You might even be thinking about what to do after you sell! We can also help you here providing advice and direction regarding the selection and purchasing of some new pieces for your new home. From a special piece of art for the entrance to some new dining chairs or even sprucing up the curtains in the bedroom, our understanding and knowledge of interior design, functionality and pretty things (of course!) will assist us in guiding you to make the right choices.

Interiors

Our last arm of the business is split into two. Interiors offers new home owners, renovators and current homeowners the chance to be assisted in the design of their home. By this we mean guidance on all aspects of the house and what treasures fill it.

The first arm of ‘STYLEPOINT INTERIORS’ involves assisting current home owners with their home decor. We are a wealth of information, we are Advisors and Directors and we have a great little address book that will turn your vision into reality a lot cheaper and faster than if you were to do it on your own. The process is fivefold:

1. Initial discussion (At client house or our Showroom)
2. Discussion of Budgets and Timing
3. Planning to Style, Furnish and Shop
4. Implementation of Plan
5. Your Perfect Home is created !

Our second arm is our full house ‘COLOUR CONSULTS’; and by full we mean absolutely everything.
We guide, assist and create all the colours of your home. From the brick type, to the paint colour, to even the door handles; we help you create your vision. Through our association with the ‘AUSTRALIAN BUILDER’S NETWORK’, we have access to a showroom showcasing every colour and material imaginable for a home. Using this showroom, site visits to your property & product stores; we choose materials and colour based on your budget and desires. Post this session, we create a Colour Specification Document in which you will review. This is then passed onto your renovator, who then creates your aesthetic vision.
